Lose Your Beer Belly – How To Start Right Now

Losing a beer belly is tough. Once the belly fat's there it's really hard to get rid of. The problem is that sit ups alone won't get rid of it. There are a number of products on the market that promise rock solid abs and six packs in a matter of weeks, but they just don't deliver. If you really want to lose your beer belly, then read on to find out how you can start today...

Stop drinking beer... One of the first things you're going to need to do is stop drinking as much beer. That's right... it's called a beer belly for a reason. This doesn't mean that you're going to have to live your whole life with out ever having another beer. It's all about moderation. Have one or two beers every once in a while, not every night. You'll be amazed at just how much weight you'll lose by cutting down.

Reduce your calorie intake... Diets can be boring, anti social, hard to maintain and a real pain in the butt. It's best try to and avoid fad diets as they are often the most strict and the most difficult to follow. You can usually expect to see great results quickly with a fad diet, but I guarantee you'll be miserable and sick of it within a week. The best way to lose weight is to sensibly reduce your calorie intake and eat a healthy balanced diet. You're more likely to keep the weight off and you won't have to starve yourself for months on end. Cutting out junk food and snacks can make a huge difference too. Try to stick to three average size meals a day and if you get hungry in between meals have some fruit or a tall glass of water.

Find a suitable exercise plan... Sits ups alone will do very little for your beer belly, so it's important to find a well rounded exercise plan that you can easily fit into your life. Think about how much free time you have and how much of that time you're willing to dedicate to exercising. Cardio exercises such as running are a great way to burn calories and will help speed up your weight lose.

Finding time to exercise... It's hard to keep in good shape when you get older. I'm a pretty busy man. I work about 40-50 hours a week, I've got a beautiful wife and two great kids that keep me busy. So, I don't have much time for exercise and like most fathers I want to spend my free time with my kids. If you're anything like me, then you'll know just how hard it is to fit any kind of exercise program or diet into your everyday life. I wanted to lose my beer belly so bad, but it seemed like there just weren't enough hours in my day.

Before, when I used to play with my children I'd get out of breath and had to stop after 10 minutes. I wanted to get healthy for my kids, because I want to be around to see them both grow up. If I carried on eating, drinking and not exercising I was heading for a heart attack before I hit 50. No I've lost the beer belly and all that extra weight I feel literally 10 years younger.

Although it's hard to lose a beer belly it's not impossible. As long as you eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and stick with it you're bound to see some excellent results.
